For them it was a time of prayer and silence. Quiet. Peace. In the spirit of Jesus, in the crucifixion, in the final Friday of Lent, these three hours were the sanctuary of absolutely no requests from children. No TV, no radio, no noise. And whether you are an overwhelmed mother, a devotee of all things Easter, or simply ready for a break, enjoy the tranquility of peace this weekend. If mothers of herds could find it, certainly you can, too. Happy Easter. May you muse joyfully on peace. Easter 1942 from YouTube:
