Roger Wood spoke to people who love Donald Trump and those who hate the presidential contender Thursday night in Portsmouth.
While Trump was on the stump, his detractors were on the demonstration lines protesting his recent controversial comments.
One of them was Bill Spelzer, a 25-year Portsmouth resident.
Spelzer joined hundreds of others to meet and jeer at the Republican contender. But there were Trump supporters on hand as well at the Sheraton Portsmouth Hotel.
Kendell Frizzell is a senior at Portsmouth High School and lives in Newington.
For Kendell, this will be the first presidential primary she will be able to vote in, and says she plans to exercise that right. The Trump speech and appearance was sponsored by the New England Police Benevolent Association.
