CONCORD – Concord Police have had several officers searching for a missing couple from Concord. They were reported missing after not showing up at a scheduled event. Concord Police reported that the couple’s vehicle was parked at their residence in Alton Woods.

On Thursday night after an extensive search in the area of the power lines adjacent to Alton Woods, sources say two deceased people were found in an area located in the vicinity of the power lines that had been the focus of an all-day search.

New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella late on Thursday night announced the deaths of two people, referred to as suspicious, were being investigated by Concord Police.

Several officers remained at the scene off Portsmouth Street Thursday night and continued to be on scene Friday.
Five cruisers were parked at the trail head leading to the power lines. At one point officers were seen walking from the wooded area with “long guns” and some left in their cruisers. Police remained at the scene, and have not verified if the deaths are related to the missing people that they were searching for.
