On Monday, the Center for Public Integrity updated the number of TV ads and how much state candidates spent on them in New Hampshire and around the country.

While most of the nation’s focus this year is on the races for president and control of Congress, tens of millions of dollars are being spent on state-level races. An array of special interests are fighting to see which statehouses they can influence, fueling the spending. To see who is trying to influence the 2016 state elections, the Center for Public Integrity is analyzing political TV ads tracked by media monitoring firm Kantar Media/CMAG.
