Podcaster Roger Wood talks with Dr. Greg Baxter, President of Elliot Health System of Manchester. He opens up about the difficulty of providing health care in the current environment.

Dr. Greg Baxter, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, was named President of Elliot Health System after serving for 10 years as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Baxter has been with Elliot Health System since 2003 when he joined and led the emergency physician provider group, growing it to 17 physicians and 10 advanced care providers by 2008. At that time, he was named Vice President of Medical Affairs serving as a liaison to the medical staff, Elliot Board of Directors, and management. In 2009, Dr. Baxter was appointed Chief Medical Officer and has served in this leadership role for nine years. In 2020, he took on the role of Chief Clinical Officer.
