What is the best career advice you ever received?
“Half of life is showing up.” While notably, I work a lot. This quote also speaks to showing up for those who show up for you. Both for those with a common goal, but also for those who enable you to be the best version of yourself.
Judie Milner has served as Franklin’s City Manager since September 2017 and as a result serves on many boards and committees throughout the city. Prior to serving as City Manager, Judie was Franklin’s Finance Director for nine years and served for 23 years in progressive accounting roles for Rockingham County located in southern New Hampshire. Judie graduated from New Hampshire College (Southern NH University) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance and passed the CPA exam shortly thereafter. A lifelong resident of New Hampshire, Judie takes pride in serving the community and making Franklin and New Hampshire a better place to live for all. Judie lives in Northfield with her husband of 25 years, Chris, her 19-year-old son, Ben, three rescued dogs, and a bunch of ducks and tropical fish. Horse rescues will be next on the horizon for the Milner family. The family enjoys boating, motorcycles, motocross, competitive shooting, traveling, camping, cycling, hiking, gardening, horseback riding, swimming and Mexican food!
