CONCORD, NH – On Friday at about 3:54 p.m., the Concord Police Department received information of a potential threat towards 18 North Main Street in Concord where U.S. Rep. Maggie Goodlander, D-NH, has an office on the 4th floor.

Annie Lentz, spokesperson for Congresswoman Goodlander, said: “Tonight, the office of Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander was targeted with a bomb threat. Law enforcement responded swiftly and confirmed that no credible threat is present at this time.

“Congresswoman Goodlander, her team, and her family are grateful to each and every law enforcement officer and first responder, including the amazing teams at the Concord Police Department and New Hampshire State Police, for their professionalism and care in keeping our community safe.

“Violence and threats of violence have no place in our state or country. Congresswoman Goodlander has never been more committed to her work delivering for the people of New Hampshire,” Lentz said.

Goodlander, a former intelligence officer in the US Navy Reserves, is one of six Democrats who created a video telling U.S. service members they have the right to disobey illegal orders.

New Hampshire State Police Bomb Squad responded and assisted in a search of the area and building. At the conclusion of the search, the threat was dispelled and the road was opened. “There is no threat to the public at this time,” according to the Concord police news release.

The video by the six Democrats prompted President Trump to post on social media they had engaged in “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH” and that they should be arrested, according to The Guardian.

The video features the Democratic lawmakers who have previously served in the military or in intelligence roles, including Senators Elissa Slotkin, and Mark Kelly, and Representatives Maggie Goodlander, Chris Deluzio, Chrissy Houlahan and Jason Crow.

U.S. Sen. Slotkin told People magazine Friday she and the other five lawmakers now have 24/7 security after Trump called their short video PSA “Punishable by Death.”

“Slotkin revealed that she and five other members of Congress had been put under security by Capitol Police on Thursday, Nov. 20,” People magazine reported.

On Thursday morning, Trump wrote on Truth Social: “It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL,” The Guardian reported.

The news release from Concord police doesn’t mention Goodlander’s office or say whether she was a target of Friday’s threat.

In a video link provided by her spokesman Friday, Goodlander stood up for the PSA.

“Threats don’t deter me. I will never give up the ship,” Goodlander said.
