Merrimack, NH – Hundreds of residents and visitors flocked to Daniel Webster Highway and Baboosic Lake Road on Friday to celebrate Independence Day, creating a vibrant scene as they gathered for the town’s annual parade.

Crowds began arriving early, securing prime spots with their chairs and blankets along the parade route, a testament to the event’s enduring popularity. The perfect weather added to the festive atmosphere, with clear skies and comfortable temperatures setting the stage for a delightful morning.

The parade itself featured a diverse array of participants, captivating onlookers with its lively procession.

Various community groups marched alongside creative floats, an impressive collection of antique military vehicles, and a gleaming display of Corvettes. Political candidates also greeted the public, and several bands filled the air with patriotic tunes and upbeat melodies.

Spectators appeared to thoroughly enjoy the spectacle, cheering and waving as the parade passed by.

The Independence Day festivities in Merrimack continued with a fireworks display scheduled to light up the night sky after dark.
