In our 10 years reporting nonprofit news online, InDepthNH.org has grown in readers, revenue and respect. As a result, we are looking for help growing into our next decade, which will focus on building a strong business model to make sure we can sustain our online news delivery and continue reporting news without fear or favor.

We are looking to hire an experienced associate editor, revenue generator and freelance reporters.

The associate editor should be experienced in running an online publication, including working with reporters, copy editing and posting stories, ads and photos daily, as well as assisting with revenue generation, social media and composing two free daily newsletters.

We’d like to bring on an experienced revenue developer who knows how to attract advertisers and underwriters, plan successful events, as well as work with donors, grantors and philanthropists.

We have a core group of exceptional reporters but would like to add freelancers who have solid news backgrounds to help out occasionally with statehouse and investigative reporting.

The important thing for InDepthNH.org is finding the right people to augment the work of the fine people who have already found us, all of whom work now as contract or volunteer employees.

These jobs will be new to us so there is flexibility in not only the number of hours and type of work, but also in kinds of experience.

Because we are flexible, we would consider the right people joining us as contract, freelance, parttime, fulltime or even volunteer employees to get started – if you are the right person for the job.

The right people will be experienced, hard-working, ethical and passionate about saving local news in New Hampshire.

Email me for more information about what we hope to accomplish in the next phase of our development. This is such an exciting time for InDepthNH.org.

We love working for you, New Hampshire, and hope you will contact Nancy West for more information about how we plan to grow and hope you will grow with us at nancywestnews@gmail.com.

Bring your talent, innovative ideas and love of news to the future for all of us.

We are in the midst of a news crisis in New Hampshire and the nation. We have lost 75 percent of all news jobs since 2001 in New Hampshire, but together we will find a way to turn the depressing numbers around.

Together we must find a sustainable path forward to continue reporting unbiased, nonpartisan news that matters.

Our mission is to hold the powerful accountable, and give voice to marginalized people, places and ideas. We need your help. — Nancy West
