Christine Falzone, 33, the woman who was murdered in Ossipee Sunday, was 35 to 37 weeks pregnant when she died of multiple blunt force injuries, according to a news release from Attorney General John Formella.

Her boyfriend William Kelly, 38, a convicted sex offender, is being held without bail after being charged with second-degree murder in Falzone’s death. They lived together at 332 Water Village Road in Ossipee.

“No decision has been made with regard to criminal charges related to the death of the unborn child as the investigation is ongoing,” the release said.

According to authorities, on Dec. 17 at about 11:44 a.m., a 911 call was made for a report of a woman unconscious and not breathing at 332 Water Village Road in Ossipee.

“Officers and paramedics responded to that location and encountered Christine Falzone with multiple injuries. Ms. Falzone was ultimately pronounced dead,” the release said.

Responding officers also encountered Kelly at the same location and he was taken into custody.

Kelly is listed on the state police sex offender registry after being convicted in March of 2009 of felonious sexual assault with a victim 13 or older and under 16 with an age difference of more than three years.

Kelly was also convicted of second-degree assault-domestic violence in August 2019, according to the registry. Kelly’s criminal record dates back to criminal mischief and assault convictions in 2004 and 2005 and other crimes related to violating parole. Kelly was also convicted of a misdemeanor drug offense and endangering the welfare of a child in 2008, according to the state police sex offender registry.
