The New Hampshire federal delegation announced Tuesday their endorsement of state Senator Dr. Tom Sherman for governor.
Dr. Sherman has spent the past decade working across the aisle to help working families – from expanding Medicaid to lowering prescription drug costs. He’s running for governor to get New Hampshire back on track and focus on lowering costs for Granite Staters and supporting our public schools.
“Granite Staters deserve a governor who stands up for reproductive rights, public education and working families. Tom Sherman has proven that he will fight for our most vulnerable neighbors and defend a woman’s right to choose. I’m proud to support Tom in his candidacy for governor,” said U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D, D.H.
“I have seen firsthand how hard Tom works for the people of New Hampshire — whether it was the critical role he played in expanding Medicaid or our work together to help ensure clean drinking water for Granite Staters. On issues from protecting a woman’s fundamental freedom to lowering costs, Granite Staters can trust Tom to deliver for them and that is why I am proud to endorse him,” said U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H.
“Dr. Tom Sherman is a proven advocate for our New Hampshire communities and values,” said Congresswoman Annie Kuster, D-N.H. “I trust Dr. Tom Sherman to be a fearless partner in lowering costs for Granite Staters, protecting our public schools, and standing up for women’s reproductive rights. I’m excited to endorse him as the next governor of New Hampshire.”
“Tom Sherman is a problem solver and a community-minded leader, and I am proud to endorse him for Governor. Tom will work tirelessly to support public schools, strengthen communities, and grow our workforce, and I know he will always stand up to the political extremists that threaten New Hampshire values and our way of life,” said Congressman Chris Pappas, D-N.H.
