MANCHESTER – A group of people began to gather outside of the Manchester City Hall Tuesday evening. The crowd continued to grow to almost 200 people, and several people driving by honked and cheered to show their support.
Many of those in attendance are Ukraine natives, and many have relatives still in the country that is under seize. A large number of Manchester citizens without heritage from the Ukraine came out to show their support.
The group of people took turns speaking, praying, and holding signs praying for peace. The crowd was also supported by Mayor Joyce Craig, and several Alderman coming to attend a meeting.
