There are two events focused on President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign for New Hampshire on Thursday, July 30, according to Nina McLaughlin, the RNC spokesperson for Maine and New Hampshire.
There is a sign wave NH MAGA meetup at the Manchester City Hall from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, said McLaughlin, who is involved with the event.
“Our event is focused on law enforcement and the work they do every day to keep us safe. We are defending law enforcement and pushing back on the anarchy we are see in cities like Portland, Oregon,” McLaughlin said.
That is separate event that involves President Trump speaking live to supporters at a Tele-Rally Thursday at 7 p.m., McLaughlin said.
Holly Shulman, spokesman for the NH Democratic party said, “Too scared to face a little rain or a lot of anger from New Hampshire voters Trump’s plan to phone it in won’t even begin to cover up his failures and broken promises to Granite Staters.”
Trump cancelled a planned rally in Portsmouth last month and has yet to reschedule.
“Trump is completely out of touch and is plain wrong for New Hampshire. I know it. The majority of voters here know it. Everyone but Chris Sununu, who continues to throw his arms tightly around him, knows it,” Shulman said.
The following invitation was posted on Twitter: “President Trump wants to talk to you. On July 30 at 7 p.m. EDT, the President will go LIVE and host a Tele-Rally for his TOP supporters in New Hampshire to discuss the importance of keeping our communities safe and out of the hands of the Radical Left.”
The Trump campaign will be calling select supporters at 7 p.m. to participate.
Also on Twitter: “Come join us for a sign wave MAGA Meet-Up on July 30, 2020 in Manchester. MAGA Meet-Ups are gatherings of Trump Victory supporters in your neighborhood. MAGA Meet-Ups play a pivotal role in organizing your local community to help Keep America Great. They help us connect with other supporters in the area and recruit new volunteers who are ready to re-elect President Donald J. Trump and Republicans across America.”
