Two events held in New Hampshire this weekend honored the memory of those who have passed away from cancer. The Relay for Life is a nationwide effort to showcase the survivors and to raise money for the American Cancer Society to continue its effort to cure cancer.

Roger Wood’s wife, Elaine, herself a cancer survivor, has walked in just about every relay held at track fields around the region. This year it was the Winnacunnet oval in Hampton. Roger’s wife and other participants brought back images of the yearly relay.
