On July 12 at about 11 a.m., Manchester Police responded to the area of 41 Hevey St. for a report of a young child found on the sidewalk.
Police learned that a passerby located a 2-year-old boy on the sidewalk at the intersection of Hevey and Conant streets. When the child was located, he was not wearing any clothes.
The child appeared to be in good health, but did have an injury to his left foot.
Officers were able to locate the child’s mother, but based on their investigation, the child was placed in the custody of other family members. The case remains open and active.
