Clarification: The House Speaker’s office said Saturday that Rep. Barbara Griffin, R-Goffstown, signed up to sit in the mask non-compliant section, but didn’t end up attending Wednesday’s session at the Whittemore Center at UNH.
There were 47 House Republicans (roughly 33% of Republicans in attendance) who refused to wear any protective equipment Wednesday, according the House Majority Office.
They were seated in the Mask Non-Compliant section at the Whittemore Center at the University of New Hampshire. No House Democrats were in that section.
