$881,200 To Catholic Charities as Sununu Awards $17M More For Healthcare Facilities

Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester is one of seven NH Catholic Charities facilities around the state.

CONCORD – Gov. Chris Sununu released a list of additional awardees for the Healthcare System Relief Fund. A copy of the additional list can be found here.

“Keeping the doors open at New Hampshire’s health care facilities has been our priority since day once of this public health crisis, and these funds help to ensure just that,” Sununu said,

These funds will provide relief to health care facilities across the Granite State and help to ensure that we remain prepared for a possible second surge.”

This additional list of awardees includes $10,817,745.86 in funding for long term-care facilities and $6,095,026.50 for other healthcare facilities, totaling $16,912,772.36. An additional $50,348,870 has been previously allocated, including $24,915,000 in funding to 8 hospitals which was announced last week.

Note: Governor Sununu authorized the allocation and expenditure of a total of $100 million in emergency funding from the CARES Act to support healthcare providers with COVID-19 related expenses and lost revenues from March 1, 2020 to December 30, 2020.
