Few Details Released in Nashua Officer-Involved Shooting

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner announce that authorities have responded to an officer-involved shooting incident in Nashua, New Hampshire earlier Friday.

Nashua Police Department officers responded to a residence on Hunt Street at approximately 10:27 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2019, regarding a criminal threatening complaint. 

Following the initial response, the suspect was barricaded in his home, and was subsequently shot. The suspect sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.

New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit is investigating the incident.
No officers or private citizens were physically injured during the incident. There is no threat to the public.  Pursuant to protocol, the name(s) of the officer(s) involved in the incident is being withheld pending the conclusion of formal interview(s).
