Eversource Names Hinkle To Replace Murray As Media Relations Manager

MANCHESTER, N.H. (August 23, 2018) – Eversource today announced that William Hinkle has been named the company’s new Media Relations Manager.

Hinkle will serve as the primary spokesperson for Eversource in New Hampshire and will replace current Media Relations Manager Martin Murray, who will retire in the fall after more than two decades of service with the company.

“William’s significant experience in high-profile situations here in New Hampshire makes him a valuable addition to our media relations and broader communications team, as we work to provide reliable, affordable energy service to our customers,” said Eversource New Hampshire President Bill Quinlan.

The former Communications Director for then-Governor Maggie Hassan from 2015-2016 and her Press Secretary in 2014, Hinkle most recently worked as a Communications and Policy Advisor on U.S. Senator Hassan’s New Hampshire staff. He received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston University, as well as a Master of International Studies at North Carolina State University. Hinkle lives in Portsmouth with his wife and son.
