Bath, NH Man Indicted in the Shooting Deaths of His Sister-in-Law and Niece

Concord, NH – Charles Readey, 73, has been indicted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at his home in Bath on Oct. 7, 2025, that left his sister-in-law and niece dead.

Readey has been charged with alternative counts of knowing second-degree murder and reckless second-degree murder for the shooting death of Cindy Moody, 67.

He has also been charged with alternative counts of knowing second-degree murder and reckless second-degree murder for the shooting death of Kristal Moody, 39.
