An undated photo showing Manchester businessman and inventor Dean Kamen with billionaire Richard Branson and notorious deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was one of the photographs released on Friday by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.

There are no details about the photos. Kamen, 74, is not accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein, who died from suicide in 2019 in jail while awaiting trial. Attempts to reach Kamen were unsuccessful Friday.

New Hampshire Public Radio reported that in 2003, Kamen’s name appeared on the log of a private jet owned by Epstein noting a flight from New York to Monterey, California.

From Democrats on the U.S. House Oversight Committee:  “Today, Rep. Robert Garcia, D-California, Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, released the following statement after the Oversight Committee received new photos from the Epstein estate. This latest production contains over 95,000 photos, including images of the wealthy and powerful men who spent time with Jeffrey Epstein. Images also include thousands of photographs of women and Epstein properties. Oversight Democrats are reviewing the full set of photos and will continue to release photos to the public in the days and weeks ahead. 19 photos can be accessed here.”

“It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends,” said Ranking Member Robert Garcia. “These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”

This week, a federal judge granted the motion by the Justice Department to unseal the grand jury investigation into Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s companion who was convicted of sex trafficking of a minor after he died. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Maxwell was arrested by the FBI in Bradford, N.H in a secluded mansion.

This summer Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty-New Hampshire listed the property at $2,495,000. Maxwell purchased the residence in 2019 for $1 million in cash using a limited liability company, according to paperwork filed by federal prosecutors.

Town records list the property assessment at $1,829,005 with an annual tax of $30,353. Recently the asking price on the land was dropped $30,000 to $2,365,000.

The mountaintop estate is not visible from the road but a careful observer can find the dirt road entrance off East Washington Road. About one-quarter of the way up the incline a wire fence blocks traffic and announces that one should “Beware of Dog.”
