Statement from the family of David Oldham:
Hello, our names are Paige Rice, Ashley Pittman and Brandon Oldham. We are here with hearts that have been broken for ten long years.
Our father, David Oldham, was murdered on July 1, 2015 in Columbia, NH. And for a decade, we’ve lived with no justice, no answers, and no peace.
But our dad was so much more than a victim of a crime. He was our hero. He was kind and funny, the kind of person who lit up every room he walked into. He was the one you could call at 2 a.m. if you were in trouble—he’d show up, no questions asked. He believed in people, even when they didn’t believe in themselves. He taught us what it meant to be strong, to be loving, to be human.
He wasn’t perfect—none of us are—but he was real. He loved his family deeply. He loved life. And someone took all of that away from us.
We were robbed of time with him, of conversations we’ll never get to have, of the chance to grow older with him by our side and every holiday, every birthday, every ordinary day—We feel his absence. It’s a weight that never lifts.
For ten years, we’ve waited, we’ve begged for answers, and we’ve lived with silence.
We will no longer be silent. We are asking—pleading—for help.
If you know something—anything—about who killed our father, please, come forward. Speak up. Even if it seems small. Even if it was a long time ago. You may carry the one piece that could give us the closure we’ve been desperately waiting for.
To the public, to the police, to anyone out there who can help: don’t let this case be forgotten. Our dad was a person, a father, a grandfather not experienced, a brother, a son, a soul who deserved more than this.
And to whoever did this—know that we haven’t given up. We will not stop until my father gets the justice he deserves. You have had a decade of what we consider lucky years as you walk this earth free, living your life. That lucky time will soon be over.
If you have any information about the murder of David Oldham, please speak up. You can remain anonymous, but you can also be the reason a grieving family finally finds peace.
Ten years is too long. Please, help us bring the truth to light.
As a family, we want to thank you for anything you have done already, thank you for anything you do to help in the future, and most of all, thank you for not forgetting about our father David Oldham.
