InDepthNH.org’s Talented Folks Honored at NH Press Association Annual Awards Banquet

InDepthNH.org is proud to announce the following awards in our group 2 category for the New Hampshire Press Association Annual Awards.

The awards banquet was held Thursday night at the Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College in Manchester.

Damien Fisher won 1st place in Investigative Reporting for a story or series for his work on investigating “What Really Happened To Michael Carney?”

Fisher also took 2nd place in the Community Service Category for his work on “The Truth About a State Representative Shocks NH City.”

Four other InDepthNH.org folks were honored with 3rd place for InDepthNH.org’s Community Service, Including Nancy West, Paula Tracy, Garry Rayno, and Bob Charest.

George Liset

George Liset’s “Writing on the Fly,” won 1st place in the Sports Writing class.

“Like a quiet walk in the woods, the writer (Liset) draws you in and inspires a genuine interest in the subject matter,” the judge wrote.

Wayne D. King

Wayne King won Best Use of Audio or Podcast’s 3rd place for his entry titled “Wayne King’s Podcast Showcases Versatile Talent.”

State House Bureau Chief Garry Rayno won 2nd place for Education Reporting for his report, “Should Public Money Fund Private School Educations Via EFAs?”
