Mountain biking in New Hampshire has really taken hold over the past few years. Over 8,000 people across New England are in the nonprofit group New England Mountain Bike Association. The challenges for groups involved in caring for the off road trails they use have really increased, partly due to increased building developments impinging on those pathways. across the region.  Tim Mallard heads up the seacoast NEMBA Group.

Tim Mallard is the president of the newly formed Seacoast NEMBA chapter and lifelong mountain biker. He rebooted the chapter in January 2022 and it has been outstanding to bring NEMBA support back to the region. He is also a stay at home dad as well as a Mechanical Engineer and Robotics coach. As a New Hampshire native, he said it has been a joy to come back and settle down in Dover for the past nine years. Two young children and a wife in the medical field may have put a hold on careers. But It is truly a gift to have the time to put some good hard work into two fantastic non-profits like Seacoast NEMBA and Dover Shockwave Robotics, he said.
