MANCHESTER – Gov. Chris Sununu has a scheduling conflict and won’t be able to attend InDepthNH.org’s fundraiser Why The Future of News Matters on Nov. 12, according to Jane Hirsch, his director of scheduling.

“Thank you again for thinking of Governor Sununu, and I hope you have a great event!” Hirsch said in an email.

The keynote speaker is writer, filmmaker Gloria Norris, a Manchester native who wrote KooKooLand.

The evening includes a panel discussion with Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky. After Volinsky announced he will challenge Sen. Dan Feltes, D-Concord, in the Democratic primary for governor, InDepthNH.org invited Feltes and Sununu.

Feltes has agreed to attend.

Also on the panel will be Feltes, ACLU-NH Gilles Bissonnette, Bernstein Shur Attorney Rick Gagliuso and Nancy West.
