Gov. Chris Sununu said there are reports in the nation’s south that COVID-19 is seeing an uptick and will likely come here by winter, but the state is in a better position now to respond to it and new variants than ever before.

CONCORD – Just two days after a leaked Supreme Court draft decision indicating Roe v. Wade is set to be overturned, reproductive health care was on the top of elected officials’ minds.
After a thorough vetting, the Executive Council voted 4-1 to support a key housing initiative of Governor Chris Sununu’s that would provide $100 million in federal funding for housing projects to allow them to be quickly built and finished to meet needs of the state for low- to moderate-rental housing and providing incentives for municipalities to support such housing.
Gov. Chris Sununu’s plan to create a rapid, statewide, $100 million fund to develop low- and moderate-income housing and another plan to address the state’s mental health crisis with a new hospital at Hampstead for children, both using federal one-time dollars, were tabled by the Executive Council Wednesday.
She has asked Associate Attorney General Strelzin, Governor Christopher Sununu and the New Hampshire Executive Council to have mercy on her and reduce her sentence so that she can one day return home. Unfortunately, mercy does not seem to be in their cards. Pam can only hope that they take another look at what rehabilitation really looks like.
