After Saturday’s surprise attack on Israel by the terrorist group Hamas, Jewish communities in New Hampshire are coming together, standing in support of those grappling with the war firsthand.
Gov. Chris Sununu is asking the state’s Congressional delegation to help increase security at the state’s border with Canada, claiming that illegal activity has increased dramatically.
Joining what is now a list of 55 officers were Hillsboro Police Officer Rory Bohanan, Department of Corrections Officer Lawrence Prather, and Manchester Patrolman Frank J. Dustin.
Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig said: “Mayor Wieczorek cared deeply about this city, and many of our beloved institutions, like the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and the SNHU Arena, were made possible by his hard work.”
Trump has put forward the idea that politics is not that serious at all; that it can be treated exactly like a game of sport, with triumphant winners and pathetic losers, with adulation owed to the former and pure contempt to the latter.
Voters here essentially kept things the same returning their governor, congressional delegation, and the exact same Executive Council for another term in office.
Congressional District 1 candidate Karoline Leavitt, a Republican, and Democratic U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas disagreed on approaches to just about every challenge and issue facing the nation when they squared off in a debate Thursday sponsored by the Mount Washington Valley Economic Council.
“I have seen firsthand how hard Tom works for the people of New Hampshire — whether it was the critical role he played in expanding Medicaid or our work together to help ensure clean drinking water for Granite Staters. On issues from protecting a woman’s fundamental freedom to lowering costs, Granite Staters can trust Tom to deliver for them and that is why I am proud to endorse him,” said U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H.
Retail politics is still practiced with a passion in the Granite State, but it pales in effectiveness to the millions of dollars poured into our purple state to influence outcomes.
