Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has announced that the outdoor fixed COVID-19 testing site in Newington, is closed today, Wednesday, January 12. With overnight temperatures below zero, the site’s generator failed and the site does not currently have power.

The site, which was scheduled to be open until 3:00 p.m. today, is currently working to fix the generator and resolve the issue. The site is expected to resume normal operations at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13.

For residents seeking testing from the Newington site on January 12, more than 100 indoor testing locations will be open to safely meet the testing needs of residents.
