As state epidemiologist Dr. Benjamin Chan stated at Wednesday afternoon’s press conference, the state is averaging between 500 – 550 new cases per day. DHHS continues to work through the backlog of cases from previous days and will issue additional data once it has been analyzed.
DHHS has also announced eleven additional deaths related to COVID-19 on 10/26/2021 and 10/27/2021. We offer our sympathies to the family and friends.
