NASHUA – Great American Downtown invites Nashuans to participate in two new contests happening in November and December.
Nom Nom November: Kids’ Cookie Recipe Contest is accepting entries through Sunday, Nov. 15, in two age categories – 12 and younger, and teen. Online voting will be held Nov. 17–25, and several winners will be chosen.
The top three winners from each of the two age groups will receive a trophy; a panel of local judges will also choose their favorites in each age category. One recipe in each age group will be selected and offered on National Cookie Day at participating bakeries in Downtown Nashua. Dazzling December: Holiday Lights Contest invites you to share your most festive décor in a photo contest. Two categories, residential and Downtown Nashua business, will be offered. Snap an image of your decked-out home and be part of the online voting contest. Winners will receive a trophy and more surprises. Submissions accepted Nov. 17–Dec. 3; online voting will occur Dec. 5–Jan. 3.
