Last year's Dinner on Main Street celebration in Nashua.

NASHUA – Great American Downtown invites you to its annual celebration of the local seasonal harvest at Dinner on Main Street: A Harvest Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 22.

Downtown Nashua’s favorite chefs are teaming up with local producers from the Nashua Farmers Market to show off their culinary prowess by transforming the bounty of New Hampshire’s fields and farmers – right in the middle of Main Street.

Hundreds of foodies will enjoy al fresco dining in a sectioned-off area of Main Street (the block bordered by Pearl Street, featuring Surf and Fratello’s).

The six-course, farm-to-table meal will also give guests the option of beer and wine pairings, specially selected to enhance each course.
The event begins seating at 2:30 p.m. with cocktail hour; your dinner ticket includes a complimentary craft cocktail (with proper ID). Dinner begins promptly at 3:30 p.m.

You’ll hear stories from local farmers. Attendees will also enjoy live music performed by local sax legend Nick Goumas, joined by jazz vocalist and pianist Geraldine Bergonzi, bassist Barry Smith and Peter Moutis on drums.

Gather your foodie friends and make it a group event, full of delicious food and shared memories! Ticket price contingent on beer, wine or no alcohol. Advance tickets appreciated for food planning; a few tickets may be available the day of the event. www.downtownnashua.org/local.
