AG: Man Dead in Officer-Involved Shooting in Epping

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner announce that there was an officer-involved shooting in Epping, New Hampshire earlier this evening.

The incident occurred in the area of Exit 6 on Route 101.  A male individual is deceased.  No officers were physically injured.  This incident is being investigated by the Attorney General’s Office in conjunction with the State Police Major Crime Unit.

State police were on scene and not immediately available for comment.

This is an unfolding investigation and additional information will be provided as soon as possible while still protecting the integrity of the investigation.
