Henry Law Park in Dover was the venue on Sunday for the Recovery Rally where over 200 people flocked to listen to music, to investigate places and resources for recovery, and to have their faces painted.
Hosted by SOS Recovery, this event was supported by several organizations inviting those both in or affected by addiction to find out more about services available.
When asked about Heroin Anonymous at one of the booths represented, Steven and Bob both remarked the best advice they could give anyone looking for a solution was to “go to a meeting.”
Another table offered a venue for meetings: The Triangle Club of Dover. Several private rehabilitation services included Sober Sisters, Bonfire Recovery Services, Granite Recovery and New Futures.
