Public Event: Individuals, Groups, Organizations Welcome
Climate, Jobs, Justice: International Day Of Action
Meet organizers at Central Square

Light Up The Night in Keene on Friday, September 7th with ECHO Action as part of the People’s Climate Movement International Day Of Action.

Individuals, groups and organizations are invited to join the ECHO Action Team at various locations in Keene to hold lighted climate action signs on Friday evening. Climate action candidates and college students are encouraged to attend.

ECHO Action is the first NH organization to use lighted signs on overpasses, at rallies and events to amplify their #FossilFree603 and #PipelineFree603 message. They held Friday evening Light Up The Night For Climate Action rallies at Central Square throughout last fall and winter and along the proposed Granite Bridge Pipeline Route from Manchester to Stratham this spring and summer.

Participants will be assigned a lighted sign and location in the downtown area with one of various climate action messages. Participants may bring their own posters to hold up as well. Children must be accompanied by and stay with an adult at all times, who is solely responsible for their actions and safety.

Participants may bring small flashlights or glow sticks. Registration information is available at ECHOaction.org, on Facebook at @ECHOaction, or by email at ECHOactionteam@gmail.com.

The group will also have a table at the Monadnock Progressives/Sierra Club Climate, Jobs, Justice rally on Saturday at Railroad Square.
