Fly fishing on Profile Lake

(Concord, NH)  The Division of Parks and Recreation will be holding an informational session to present the plans for the Profile Lake accessible fishing platform and walkway on August 28, 2018, 6:00 p.m. at the Franconia Notch State Park headquarters building.

The original plan presented at the April 7, 2017 meeting has been revised based upon public comment and the scope of the project lessened. Included in this plan are two bridge crossings at the north and south ends of the lake, and an accessible path from the Old Man Viewing Area to an accessible fishing platform on Profile Lake. Plans and permits will be posted on the Profile Lake project webpage by Friday August 17th,http://www.nhstateparks.org/news-and-events/projects/profile-lake-trail.aspx.
