Associate Publisher Roger Wood and founder Nancy West say thanks for the $10,732 NewsMatch donations you all made to the New Hampshire Center for Public Interest Journalism. The money will be matched dollar for dollar by the Democracy Fund, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. The Miami Foundation is the fiscal sponsor.

News Match ended Dec. 31, 2017, giving InDepthNH.org a healthy boost to start 2018. It was a national campaign that encouraged grassroots support for nonprofit news organizations like InDepthNH.org and 110 other organizations through the Institute for Nonprofit News.

Roger and Nancy share some thoughts on this podcast about the growth of InDepthNH.org, reminding our readers that this is YOUR nonprofit news site and we will need your help to keep growing.

We plan to hire a fundraiser, ad sales people and hope more volunteers will work to get our message out. A generous grant from the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund through the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation helped us report many diverse news stories in 2017, and we will apply again to continue the reporting that is important to Coos County and surrounding towns and around the state.

We will be reaching put to forge new collaborations to increase indepth investigative reporting in New Hampshire. Our readership is growing and we hope you will be a part of our future. Roger and I are looking forward to working with you. Thanks again.
