All – At noon today, Governor-elect Chris Sununu will be sworn-in as New Hampshire’s 82nd governor. In perhaps unconventional fashion, our newly sworn-in governor will deliver his inaugural address from brief notes.

In lieu of providing excerpts from the address, below is a background quote that speaks to the broad themes and policy areas of focus in today’s remarks. The following can be attributed to “senior transition officials” :

“The Governor-elect will take the opportunity today to begin a conversation with the people of New Hampshire, laying out his vision for a state government focused on achieving results for individuals, restoring customer service and taking bold steps to grow our economy.”

For further background, the bible the Governor-elect has chosen to use for his swearing-in is a Greek Orthodox New Testament printed in 1913 for his great-great-grandfather. Former Governor John H. Sununu, an avid collector, came across the bible in a collection of old books.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

David Abrams
