New Hampshire’s homegrown editorial cartoonist is now lambasting the powers-that-be in living color. Mike Marland’s cartoons will now bedazzle in every color in the rainbow as he anxiously awaits adoption by the New Hampshire Center for Public Interest Journalism’s nonprofit news website InDepthNH.org.
IDNH hopes to pay Mike what he’s worth by finding underwriters and advertisers soon. Mike was the victim of cost-cutting at the Concord Monitor after 29 years. His last cartoon ran there on New Year’s Eve.
Mike, who is at the top of his game, has upped the ante. We hope you will, too, by helping us find an advertiser willing to underwrite his work. We also need your help finding a right-leaning cartoonist to give lefty-leaning Mike a run for his money. To help underwrite Mike, call Nancy West at 603-738-5635 or email email@example.com.
