On Tuesday, December 6, from 1:00-3:00pm

A short year ago it was but a dream of co-founders, Colene Arnold, MD and Kerry Norton, RN, to open a home in Rochester for pregnant women struggling with substance use disorder. Now, driven by their undying passion, and having mobilized hundreds of volunteers and thousands of hours of effort, Hope on Haven Hill has met their audacious goal to open in 2016.

Hope On Haven Hill is a licensed Level 3.5 Residential Recovery Facility for pregnant women and their babies, providing on site comprehensive treatment for substance use and co-occurring conditions for up to one year postpartum.  Women and their babies receive holistic care in a safe, nurturing, therapeutic environment that includes childbirth education classes, parenting classes, family therapy sessions, education and career development, and other life skills to support self-directed goals on a path to self sufficiency, stability, independence and recovery.

The eight beds for mothers at Hope on Haven Hill will more than double the number of available residential options for pregnant mothers in need of treatment in New Hampshire.  The facility is scheduled to open two days following this ceremony. Come celebrate hope and recovery!
