Sunshine Week. It seems that every week celebrates something in our nation, be it a vegetable, dairy product or recreational activity. But most Americans kind of ignore the designations it seems.

But this coming week is Sunshine Week, and we’re not talking about the arrival of spring. But groups like Right to Know NH hope that Americans will take seriously their constitutional right to have a government that is accountable.

To that end, InDepthNH.org founder Nancy West, who has been in the middle of a number of right-to-know inquiries, is hoping to raise public awareness of a more transparent government, be it local, state or national. Roger Wood spoke to David Saad, president of Right to Know NH, about the issue in his latest podcast.
