The New Hampshire Center for Public Interest Journalism launched our nonprofit investigative news outlet InDepthNH.org in September. New Hampshire has lost many reporters over the last decade and InDepthNH.org plans to fill in those coverage gaps and give voice to people and issues that are often overlooked by financially struggling news outlets.
Already InDepthNH.org has broken important stories such as how mentally ill men and women are being housed at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men in the Secure Psychiatric Unit even though they didn’t commit a crime.
We have a number of investigations in progress to report to you in 2016. We need your help. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on your generosity.
