Roger Wood Indepth: Is There a ‘Shaheen Machine’ Revving Up?

It could be called “The Shaheen Machine” and now the gears may be turning for another of the well-known political family to go up the ladder in public office, according to an article in the Portsmouth Herald. Stefany Shaheen, the daughter of Senior U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., made it known that she’s considering running for governor in 2016. That is, if present Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan challenges Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte. Stefany Shaheen has been quoted as saying that some people have asked her to run. So far, she has not said anything more. In his latest Roger Wood Indepth podcast, he reprises an interview where he brought up the subject.
